my fancy pants wordpress site 'lease' is almost up and now im faced with the decision of renewing it or dropping it. i feel a bit bad that my blog will be picking up and moving again. but at the same time, the only traffic i got from all that was a few russian bots peddling their consumer wares.

so im thinking/toying with the idea of coming back to just posting into the void over here. where its slightly cooler 😎 but having tags and all that organization is really nice too...

i'll just handcode for a while and see if thats truly where i want to be.

its that time again for me to update my phone as my old one now cant charge well anymore.

so i bought a motorola stylus and am quite proud of myself for not getting another flagship phone thats like a grand. this one was about $350 and it seems snappy enough AND has a built in stylus.im gud.

getting lost in no mans sky vr

current planet i'm on. its hot and there's constant ground fires.

figured out that my pc is able to run no man's sky in vr (with the every so often frame drop).

one of my favorite things is when i'm leaving a planet, especially big ones and for a few moments, the ground looks like a cavern ceiling that I'm escaping... and below is the void of an ocean that i'm jumping into.

does that make sense lol?

discovered gnostic versions of my childhood religion

last night, i went on a binge of viewing 'gnostic' versions of the tale of moses and the like of the old testament. particularly the views that the world is essentially a simulation made by a malevolent then minor storm god trying to pass off as the one god.

it just makes more sense, all the petty things this god pulled on the old world, if viewed through the lens of a bored, unoriginal civ player.

i dont think i'll be pursuing this too much, though i worry youtube will be peddling that content as long as i click on it. but i do like different religious pov's.
